The story behind the song goes a little something like this: Prince showed up to The Current’s 5th anniversary party at First Avenue, Minneapolis and mentioned how he supported the station and what they do. Prince’s management then got in contact with The Current and wanted to debut a song with them as appreciation to everything they stand for. No details as to where the track is from or if another album is on the way though but I’m sure long time Prince fans will enjoy.
